It's probably best to finish everything in Hitman 2 first before carrying over your progression to Hitman 3. As such, you may want to consider getting everything done in Hitman 2 itself before performing the carry over using the website (which doesn't appear to be live as yet). It's a welcome option, but should you choose to execute the Hitman 2 progression carry over, any progress you've made in Hitman 3 at that point will be overwritten. Upon choosing to carry over your progress from Hitman 2 into Hitman 3, you're presented with a message stating that “if you have previously played Hitman 2 on this console family, it's possible to perform a one-time carry over of your progression and unlocks to Hitman 3”. Another important thing to note for all platforms: If you play Hitman 3 first and then choose to carry over progress from the previous titles, all of your progress with the former will be lost.
